In the world of professional wrestling, there’s perhaps no bigger name these days than John Cena. Cena has been in the main event scene with the WWE for more than a decade now, winning a total of 25 championships. In recent years, Cena has branched out to other projects, including appearing in films such as “Trainwreck” and “Sisters”. Even though he’s known for his philanthropy outside of the ring, Cena does have quite the impressive car collection. He recently started a series called Auto Geek on YouTube, showcasing his collection.

The most prized part of Cena’s collection, though, is his 2007 Ferrari F430 Spider. The F430 itself was manufactured by Ferrari from 2004 to 2009, when it was eventually replaced by the Ferrari 458. When it first came out, the F430 was right around the $200,000 mark, with a little more for the Spider version. What sets the Spider apart from the other F430 models is the fact that it’s a convertible, which was designed by Pininfarina. While the interior remained unchanged from the F430, there were some slight differences between the two models.

The F430 Spider features a six-speed manual transmission, which was one of the biggest reasons that Cena wanted this vehicle. It can be hard to find a newer supercar that doesn’t use an automatic transmission, making this one a keeper. The engine inside of the F430 Spider is a DOHC 32-valve V8 with an aluminum block and heads with port fuel injection. It’s estimated that the F430 Spider gets nearly 500 horsepower and 343 lb-ft of torque.

While it’s not the fastest car in the world, the 2007 F430 weighs in at 3,350 pounds (curb weight) and can reach 60 miles per hour in 3.6 seconds. To get up to 100 miles per hour, it takes 8.3 seconds. The redline limit for the F430 Spider is 186 miles per hour, making it a high performance vehicle.

One thing that the F430 Spider doesn’t quite perform well with is fuel, however. The estimated fuel economy is only 11 miles per gallon while in the city, and 16 miles per gallon on the highways. Cena doesn’t seem to be too worried about trying to save fuel while driving the Ferrari around, though, even if gas prices do get too high. He just enjoys the fact that he has one of the last manual transmission Ferraris around.

The F430 Spider is a bit more dated thanks to some of the newer supercars that have higher performances, but Cena keeps his in pristine condition. There aren’t as many luxury features on the interior, which features two seats for he and his fiancee, fellow wrestler Nikki Bella. In fact, it was on her YouTube page that Cena has been uploading his fantastic reviews of some of his jaw dropping cars. The tan leather interior is surrounded by carbon fiber, which was included in the steering wheel and gear shifter.

Cena said while featuring his F430 that Ferrari took some parts from the previous model (360), while adding features that included the mirror design of the Testarossa, while the taillights were the ones seen on the Enzo. Another thing that sold Cena on the F430 was the yellow calipers that stood out and the the clear engine bay window so that you could see the engine from the exterior.

Cena own a Ferrari 360, but noted that the F430 Spider was much more pleasurable to drive. At first, he admitted that he hated it because of a three pedal system, but grew to love it. Now, it’s the bright red crown jewel of his entire collection. Cena has plenty of other super expensive sports cars at his home, but this one is tops. If you want to start a collection with a car like the F430 Spider, you’ll have to start with nearly a quarter million dollars.

Some of the used ones on the market are currently selling for $125,000 with several thousand miles on them. Some can get as low as $115,000, but that’s still a lot more than most people are willing to pay. Overall, it’s not quite as expensive as you see other multi-millionaires driving around these days, but that’s to be expected since it was manufactured in 2007.

Cena has been estimated to pay well over $1 million for his car collection, which is hardly a dent in his overall net worth at an estimated $60 million. If he really wanted to, Cena could add several more of the F430 Spiders to his collection just in case one of them breaks down! Cena doesn’t make too many appearances in the Ferrari as he usually doesn’t take it too far away from home, though. With life on the road so many days out of the year as a professional wrestler and actor, it still makes the Ferrari quite the collector’s item that should end up going in price as long as he keeps it well maintained.
