When it comes to stylish and reliable SUVs, the Cadillac SRX is at the top of the list and offers a luxurious interior and outstanding performance on the road with a 265HP engine. Produced between 2003 and 2015, the SRX is no longer in production but the popular five-door crossover is still a common sight on the highway with 2017 sales trickling down to 156 in the United States compared to an all-time high of 68,850 models sold nationwide in 2015.

Priced at $26,592, the Cadillac SRX holds its value with a depreciation value at 19%, which puts a 12-month-old model valued at $21,539. While that’s certainly not bad for a luxury SUV with the Cadillac logo, the SUV’s true cost to own is fairly high with five-year expenses totaling around $45,968 and including fuel, financing, insurance, maintenance and repairs. This has led many SRX owners to trade-in their older models for newer SUVs, which means the pre-owned market reaps the benefits with the luxury SUV going for an upwards of $15,000!
